I was learlning how to skip count in 2s and 5s.I learnt how to skip count in 2's and 5's. It was tricky to skip count in 2's because I had not learnt this before.

Finding the problem and solution in the story

After the Flood

Problem:

The children got all muddy after playing downstairs where the flood was.

Solution:

They could have put a mat on the mud and after a while the mud will get all sucked up and then they can take it out.

Sometimes it is easy to talk about the problem but not the solution. I like thinking about the problem.

Counting Money and Working Out Change

Using other punctuation

I am learning when to use other punctuation

e.g. comma, exclamation mark, question mark, apostrophe, speech marks

"There is a monster over there!" said Tom's Mum. "It looks happy and it looks hungry." said Tom.

I am proud of myself because I can use apostrophes for contraction words. I try to use speech mark but sometimes I forget where to put them!
